Privacy policy.
Last updated: May 7, 2026
JustBeginning ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect when you visit justbeginning.co, what we do with it, and the rights you have. This is a plain-language summary of how a small editorial site operates — not legal advice.
What we collect
We collect minimal information about visitors:
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically records standard request data: IP address, user agent, referring URL, page visited, and timestamp. This is used for site reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
- Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count aggregate page views and understand which guides are popular. It is cookieless, does not store IP addresses, does not track individuals across sites, and is not shared with advertisers.
- Affiliate click tracking. When you click an Amazon link on our site, Amazon may set its own cookies and track your activity on amazon.com. This is governed by Amazon's privacy policy, not ours.
We do not require accounts, do not collect personal information, do not use intrusive advertising trackers, and do not sell or share visitor data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies
We use cookies only as required for basic site function and (if enabled) lightweight analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to function normally.
Third-party services
The site relies on a small number of third-party services to operate:
- Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery
- Amazon — when you click an affiliate link
- Unsplash — image hosting for editorial photos
Each of these has its own privacy policy that applies when you interact with them.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., the EU's GDPR or California's CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal information we hold about you. Because we collect minimal personal information and do not maintain user accounts, this typically does not apply — but if you have a question or request, contact [email protected].
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through our site, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted clearly.
